Our plans start at 2 GB (€3.99/mo), which suits a small sandbox server for friends with a light addon list. What pushes the requirement up is rarely the player count on its own - it is the size of your Workshop collection, prop-heavy maps and script-heavy gamemodes like DarkRP. If you are building a public community with a long addon list, plan for more headroom and move up a tier; you can change plan later without rebuilding your setup.
Yes. The usual approach is to build a Workshop collection, point the server at its ID in the startup settings, and let it pull the content down. Addons you have as files instead go straight into the addons folder through the file manager or FTP. Both methods work on the same server, so you can mix a collection with a few manual addons.
Yes. A gamemode is just a folder in gamemodes plus the right startup line telling the server which one to load and which map to start on. You can keep several installed side by side and switch between them whenever you like. Script-heavy roleplay gamemodes are the most demanding of the common ones, so give them a bit more memory than a plain sandbox server.
In most cases no - if your content is in a Workshop collection the server tells the client what to download when someone joins, so players get it automatically. Content that only exists as loose files on the server usually needs a fast download setup instead, otherwise players may see missing textures or errors. It is worth joining your own server once with a clean install to check what actually arrives.
The panel gives you a live console, a file manager and FTP access, so you can edit configs, read errors as they happen and type server commands directly. In-game moderation is normally handled by an admin addon of your choice, which installs like any other addon. You can also take a manual backup before a risky change and set scheduled restarts to keep things tidy.
When Garry's Mod gets a new build, the server files update on restart, so a scheduled restart usually handles it for you. Addons and gamemodes update on their own schedule - Workshop items refresh when the server pulls them again, and manually installed ones you replace yourself. If an update ever breaks an addon, a manual backup taken beforehand lets you roll back to a working state.
You choose your location when ordering: Falkenstein (Germany), Warsaw (Poland), London (UK) or Gravelines (France). Pick the one closest to you - the shorter the distance, the lower your ping.
Yes, and it costs nothing extra. Game Swaps are included in every plan: turn the same server into another supported game in one click, and each game keeps its own saved preset so nothing is lost when you swap back. Heavier games need more memory, so which titles you can run depends on the plan you pick - hover the info icon next to Game Swaps on any plan above to see how many that plan can run.
