7 Days to Die is one of the heavier games we host - the world is fully destructible and every changed block has to be tracked - which is why plans for it start at 6 GB (11.99 EUR/mo). That tier suits a small group on a fresh world. Go higher if you are running a bigger group, if the map has been explored and built up over many in-game weeks, or if you are adding large mods, since all three grow memory use over time.
Yes - mods are folders you drop into the game's Mods directory using the file manager or FTP, then restart from the panel. Many mods also have to be installed by every player, and the versions on both sides need to match, so check what the mod author says before you invite people in. Take a manual backup first, because larger overhaul mods usually expect a fresh world.
Usually yes. You upload your save folder through the file manager or FTP and point the server config at that world name, and everything you built comes with it. It works most reliably when the server is running the same game version the save was made on, so update your client and the server to match before you move it.
Yes, all of it lives in the server config file, which you can edit directly in the panel. Difficulty, loot abundance, XP rate, day length, blood moon frequency, what you drop on death and land claim rules are all yours to set. Change a value, restart the server, and it takes effect - no ticket needed.
Yes. The server runs 24/7 on our hardware, so your friends can keep looting and building while you are away and nobody has to act as the host. You can also set scheduled restarts in the panel to keep a long-running world tidy.
You control when the server updates, so you can wait until your players and your mods are ready rather than being pushed onto a new build. Bigger version jumps in this game have historically needed a fresh world, so take a manual backup before you update - you can create one within your plan's backup slots, and automatic daily backups are available as a paid add-on.
You choose your location when ordering: Falkenstein (Germany), Warsaw (Poland), London (UK) or Gravelines (France). Pick the one closest to you - the shorter the distance, the lower your ping.
Yes, and it costs nothing extra. Game Swaps are included in every plan: turn the same server into another supported game in one click, and each game keeps its own saved preset so nothing is lost when you swap back. Heavier games need more memory, so which titles you can run depends on the plan you pick - hover the info icon next to Game Swaps on any plan above to see how many that plan can run.
