Insurgency: Sandstorm is one of the heavier games we host - large maps plus a lot of AI in the co-op modes - which is why plans for it start at 8 GB (15.99 EUR/mo). That is a solid base for a standard co-op or PvP server. Consider a bigger plan if you run a full-size player count, heavy bot counts, or a rotation of large community maps from mod.io.
Yes - Sandstorm has official mod support through mod.io, and you enable it by adding the mod IDs and your mod.io credentials to the server config. Once that is set, connecting players are prompted to download what the server is running. You edit those files in the panel or over FTP, so adding a new map to the rotation takes a couple of minutes.
Yes. Whether you run co-op against bots or a PvP mode is your choice, and the map cycle is a plain text file you control. You can also tune the server-side rules the game exposes, such as bot counts and difficulty on co-op modes, then restart from the panel to apply.
We do not put an artificial cap on slots - you set the player count in the server config. The real limits are your plan's RAM and CPU and what the game mode itself supports, so match the plan to the size of server you want to run.
Admins are managed through the server's admin list file, where you add the IDs of the people you trust, and bans work the same way through their own list. Both are editable in the panel's file manager or over FTP. The live console gives you a running view of what is happening on the server and lets you issue commands without being in the game.
Yes. The server runs 24/7 whether or not the owner is connected, which is what you want if you are building a community rather than a private lobby. Scheduled restarts are available in the panel, and you can take a manual backup of your configs and mod setup within your plan's backup slots - automatic daily backups are a paid add-on.
You choose your location when ordering: Falkenstein (Germany), Warsaw (Poland), London (UK) or Gravelines (France). Pick the one closest to you - the shorter the distance, the lower your ping.
Yes, and it costs nothing extra. Game Swaps are included in every plan: turn the same server into another supported game in one click, and each game keeps its own saved preset so nothing is lost when you swap back. Heavier games need more memory, so which titles you can run depends on the plan you pick - hover the info icon next to Game Swaps on any plan above to see how many that plan can run.
